I was afk for most of it....managed to get another level of unlucky (and a few err 7's--unlike many of the posters in OT I still play just about everyday)...
...and went out with a friend for my special day on friday and with my hubby on saturday (and then we went to the local festival on saturday and sunday for the fireworks....and bug bites)......think I gained like 10 pounds!

made beef curry for dinner....thinking salad for the rest of the week-----

We had pizza here last night.

So I was dumb and I haven't been outside much this summer due to work and classes. So I would come home from work and have homework to do, inside. So now that I'm done with classes I have been outside a lot more. Now I'm burnt... dang it.

Had barbecue at the beach today. It's been at least 6 months since I didn't go swimming, so I had to put a lot of sunscreen to not get burnt.

Also I finished high school ^^. Now to get ready to go to a french university to study chemistry although many family members want me to go to med school.

chemistry, bleh---both my parents were organic chemists, though I can hardly handle the subject. (hard science is not my cup of tea, did better in geography etc).

Gratz on that! And stop in more to say hello. It gets boring when its only me, cosy and RR... Chemistry can get you to med school if you take the right course. So you could just tell them that and then not actually go that route.

Well by the end of the year I wasn't really that serious so I had a ton of homework to finish and then I had to study for my exams, but now I'm on finally on real vacation

I love history, geography and biology too, but chemistry is the only thing I see myself studying for a long time (I like physics also, but it requires to much math for me xD).

Well I told them something along those lines xD. But I think they want me to go to med school because I can do the first year here, but for chemistry I have to go to France.

lol yeah I want to try to live on my own. I would have gone to Hawaii but my family told me "if you go there we'll come with you"....The thing with France is there I have never been there but I speak the language and I know some people that are going to be in the same city ^^.

France will indeed be a great experience, so much different than what I'm used to.

I once had sunburn + mosquitoes bites...to scratch or not...

Well for once the weather here is nice : it's not too hot or too cold and it sometimes rains ^^. But in France it's starting to get really hot

I have a few friends who are allergic to mosquitos. It looks like they have some sort of disease when they get bitten because the area swells up so much.

It rained a bit yesterday, and they are calling for scattered storms today and tomorrow. Aka, no rain and hot. So ya, gonna be a hot next few days/weeks.

Oh wow, then French Polynesia is a big "no" for them. I'm so used to mosquitoes, I can now catch and kill them with only one hand xD.

Well today is going to be cooler only 92 with a 70 dew-point. It went over 100 the past 2 days. I think we will get those showers on Saturday with an air change as well.
